Talks and workshops
In 2018/19, our programme offers an exciting a mixture of visiting speakers, internal talks and workshops which cover a variety of genres. We’re running an evening on smart phone photography for the first time, and welcoming acclaimed photographers such as Mark Pain (sports photography), Paul Sanders (former Picture Editor at The Times) and professional wildlife and landscape photographer, Guy Edwardes.
We have our usual mix of print and PDI competitions, offering a total of 9 league competitions for members to enter. This year we are providing our popular critique evening for club and intermediate members to experiment with, as well as a number of friendly competition opportunities such as our new knockout competition in February 2019.
We will welcome Cranleigh, Haslemere and Woking during the season for local friendly competitions, and compe both regionally and nationally in annual events such as the Albany Cup, the Surrey Rosebowl and other high-profile SPA and PAGB inter-club championships.
Want to join us?
If you’re keen to join a photography club, there’s plenty to enjoy during the season. We’re a friendly club with over 70 active members and we always look forward welcoming new photography enthusiasts to the club.
