I hope
you had an enjoyable summer and were able to take advantage of
the good weather to get out with your camera!

tea rota and competition rules please let Tim know.
David Southern
has put together a varied and interesting programme for this
season, including a third visit from Dr Brian Most, Match-A-Print,
and practical evenings, so come along and join the fun!

Awards for All
Len Deeley worked hard on behalf of the Club throughout the spring
and summer, and succeeded in obtaining a grant of £2,500
from the Awards for All scheme, part of the National Lottery.
The grant was presented at the Annual Exhibition and has been
used to purchase a digital projector, portable computer and software.
A condition of
the grant is that the equipment must be used to promote photography
within the local community, by publicity and hands-on demonstrations.
If you are able to assist at a demonstration - perhaps by handing
out Club publicity material, or have any suggestions for promoting
photography, please speak to Len.
On behalf of the
Club, the Committee thanks Len for all his time and effort in
attaining this grant, researching and purchasing suitable equipment
and setting it up for the Club to use. |
