FILTER>OTHER>HIGH PASS |

|
The
slider at the bottom controls how many pixels are affected -
the higher the radius, the sharper the image. A lower radius
is suitable for a soft image like this flower. Press OK to select
the changes. |

If the
effect is too harsh, select the opacity control in the top right
of the layers palette and reduce the opacity.
|

|
|
|
The
high pass filter can drain the colour from the image, so use
ENHANCE>ADJUST COLOR>ADJUST HUE/SATURATION adjusting only
the saturation slider. When you are satisfied with the colour,
press OK. Go to LAYER>FLATTEN IMAGE. |
