It's Spring again,,,I'll bring again…
Not tulips from Amsterdam, but I shall be dusting off my macro lens and taking a long, thoughtful look at snowdrops in Busbridge Church and on Thursley Common, daffodils at Winkworth and the few brave cyclamen which defy the odds in our (natural?) garden. They are a cheery and welcome sight after the disruption caused by recent, heavy snow.

DIGITAL COMPETITION - MOVEMENT
A substantial part of the image should give an impression of movement. This can be influenced by slow exposures, digital manipulation, panning or similar techniques.

PRINT COMPETITION - ILLUSTRATE A SONG
The title of the image should be the title of a song and added information should be included in

brackets to help the judge identify the song e.g Jailhouse Rock (Elvis Presley). The degree to which the image reflects the song title should be taken into consideration for the marking as well as the other photographic aspects of the image.

DIGITAL COMPETITION - SMALL WORLD
The main subject matter can be very small subject or object. This can be macro subjects such as insects etc, or intimate and close-up view of part of a larger subject, homing in on part of a bigger world, (thus excluding the "scapes" - land, sea, urban, sky)
