Notice of AGM
Notice is given of Godalming Photographic Club's AGM which will take place on Wednesday 10th June 2009 at 8.00 p.m. at The Red Cross Hall, Wey Court, Meadrow, Godalming GU7 3JE. If you do not receive an agenda, please contact Mike Hoad.

Part of the business of the AGM is election of the committee. If you wish to stand for any post then please feel free to do so. Nominations must be submitted in writing, before the start of the AGM, with the agreement of the person nominated and signed by the proposer and the seconder.

If you have any queries or comments on the way the Club is run, this is your chance to raise them. You may do so on the evening, or by speaking to any member of the current committee before the AGM.

The AGM will be followed by the awarding of trophies for the 2008/09 competition season.

When the formal part of the evening is concluded, light refreshments will be available.

The competition subjects for 2009/10 will be announced at the AGM.

DIGITAL COMPETITION - SMALL WORLD
The main subject matter can be very small subject or object. This can be macro subjects such as insects etc, or intimate and close-up view of part of a larger subject, homing in on part of a bigger world, (thus excluding the "scapes" - land, sea, urban, sky)

AGM and Awards

Summer Party - hosted by Len and Pat Deeley, Little Culmer, Petworth Road, Wormley, Surrey, GU8 5SW. Please see table for food list. In addition to the normal fare if anyone wants to bring along some meat/fish/vege for barbecuing they can do so and Len will BBQ it for them. If people are able to bring along a garden chair or chairs that would be most helpful. You will also need to bring your own drink and glass.

Annual Exhibition
The Annual Exhibition will be held at Godalming Museum between the 14th July and 1st August. The preview and Awards evening will be held on 15th July.

The maximum size for prints is 400mm x 500mm and you may submit up to three at £2 per print.

Prints and hanging fee should be handed to any member of the committee at the AGM on 10th June or may be delivered to Mike Hoad by 1st July (ring first to make sure there is someone to take them in).
